Last night I was sure I set the alarm and was shocked when it went off that it was this morning's.

You'll recall the IM vet had recommended an increase from 13.5u to 15.u (i.e. 1.5u increase) the other day. I decided to be conservative and just went up to 14u, which is levelling things out but not quite. I intended to go to 14.5u today but I missed PM + test last night so will wait until Friday as I'm pretty occupied with work for the next few days.

Yes, perhaps a bounce. And mea culpa for missing last night but it happens.. I'm looking at the spotty blues mixed in with all the magentas and some yellows and think it's probably likely he was in the same zone (magenta) he has been in for the past 10-14 days. I won't change anything until I'm able to monitor, however.
 
If I had to guess, I'd say his lows could also have been the night of the 16th (also no tests that night), and he's been bouncing since then. The cycle leading into the 16th PM cycle and the following AM, look a lot like he did on 1/7.

I'm glad you are waiting to increase until you can monitor more.
