Furball was happy & purry this morning. I gave a fur shot last night and she's coming down fast this morning. I hope that doesn't create a big bounce. I'm going to leave some extra food out just in case she keeps coming down fast.

They just lifted the ban on my water about 5 minutes ago! It has been one week today since the ban was placed.

Yucks on the fur shot - but she will recover soon. Hope you come home to some blue numbers along with your blue water!! :lol:

I've been thinking about you with every news report I hear about your water supply. I'm glad things are getting back to normal.

Good plan on leaving food out. That's a big drop after a fur shot.

WOOT on the water! YAY (!!!) a thousand times over. That is such good news.

Bummer on the fur shot last night, but Furball seems to be recovering well from that. Not too fast tough little one, 'K? Good idea to leave food out.

Hi Carla,
Great news about the water! I think I would play it safe, however, and continue to use bottled water for drinking for a while.

Interesting about the 3-hour "delay" in your fur shot--just like Rusty's! I think the full moon must have played a role. Edward says that his father would never do things like lay paving stones at the time of the full moon because the stones would work themselves out of the ground. Nature is mysterious!

That's not a bad number to come home to under the circumstances. I hope Furball will get back on track for the weekend so I can see what she's doing with this dose.

Thanks everyone for celebrating with me that I got my water back and for all your good thoughts and prayers while it was out. I have to admit, it was starting to get very annoying yesterday not having water back. They still haven't gotten everyone's water back yet.

She surprised me that she was still sliding down. I'll have to keep an eye on her tonight. I wish it was Friday night so I didn't have to work tomorrow.

It was nice to eat dinner on plates again instead of using paper plates and plastic silverware.

I heard on NPR this morning that pregnant women are being asked to still drink from bottled water, and to not get water on or near their face. (I'm not implying you're preggers, just sayin' to still use caution with the aqua ;-) .)

I'm so happy you have your water back. Even if you have to be careful drinking, you can still wash things. Paper plates must have gotten really tiring! Much less cleaning all the cat dishes.

1. YAY for water being back on...boo for it still being a little sketchy for drinking and pregnant women.
2. Sorry to hear about the fur shot. Shasta's been super wiggly lately, so I keep worrying about giving her fur shots all the time. :roll:
