This is the first time I got a light green and not sure what to do? @tiffmaxee
Hi Tammy! You're doing fantastic. I can't stay though Elise may be on soon. If @Butters & Lyla or @Diane Tyler's Mom are on, they may be able to stay with you.
Did you feed at +2.25 with the 61? If not, it's okay - I'm interested to see your +2.5 reading.
Congrats on the reductionI think you'll go down to 0.1....but I'll let @tiffmaxee say
so exciting!
No I didn't feed at 2.25
Great job handling low numbers, Tammy! And @JaxBenji is right. The next dose is 0.10U. Congrats on the reduction!
Did you feed again when you got the +61?
Let's see where he is at +2.5 and we can decide on what to feed
Thank you, I had to remember to Not Panic and go back and re read what I am supposed to do.

That was really quite something considering Charlie has been on insulin less than a month. Most have panicked at blues and fed high carb when we were new to this!![]()
His sugar is now 59
It is still early in the cycle. Give him another spoon of the HC/Gravy.
Test again in half an hour.
If he stays up at +3, do not feed and get a +4 to see if he stays up without food. Anyway, post here and one of us will be here. I will watch out for his +3.
@tiffmaxee should also be here soon.![]()

His numbers now are 65
Ok. Test in an hour without feeding and see if he stays up/flat.

Great. I am so thankful for your help!![]()

Not at all. Happy to help and again, you are doing really great!![]()

As you should be!I am a little proud of myself for taking a breath and remembering where I had to go to read what I had to do.
As you should be!
On a side note, when you get more than one reading in a hour, you stack them up within the same cell. You will have to manually fill the colour of the cell yourself. Here's an example:

OK Thank you. I will get my husband to help me with that when he gets home. I am not sure how to add the colors myself, and if they are one color and then change to another color within that test spot do you put the lowest color?
Yes. You put the lowest colour. So in this case, the cell will say "47 @+2, 61 @+2.25, 59 @+2.5" and it will be coloured in lime![]()

You were able to keep calm and think straight at low numbers. That is much better!I just can't figure out this computer very well or how to change things on the page.![]()
I’m late checking in this morning and missed all the excitement! Congrats on the reduction. Charlie came up easily. Well done managing the low. I had to print those directions out and read them often when Max dropped at 12 or 1:00 a.m.![]()

This sticky has a pictorial guide on how to measure 0.10U.

Feed him a little more mc. He’s surfing nicely.

Elise she isn't sure she has MC. Maybe she can add a little HC to the LC?
Is the GlucoSupport m/d mc?
I think it’s either mc or hc. Try a little.
Is the GlucoSupport m/d mc?
If it's kibble, don't give it.
no it is wet food
If it's Hill's Prescription M/D, it is 13% carbs which is MC

That is what it is, so I gave him 1tsp of it.
