Good morning!
AMPS 202 shooting 1.75u
Again I tried to fatten up this dose and I thought I had but when I took a second look at it right before injecting, it looked like 1.75 again  Of course last time this happened his numbers actually did come down that day:cat: So we'll see what happens today and tomorrow I may take him back to 2.0 u

Boomer woke me up at 2:07 again; his dish only had a wee bit left in it, I told him to finish his fuds and I went btb. He left that food plus a wee bit in his +9.

Allen ate well overnight.

Today I continue with my plan to tidy all the closets and basement. All of my photography props are kept in our basement; I've tied them but they still look messy no matter what I do!

I think the 2:00 is a lot less about food and a lot more about attention, seems he has a daily 2:00 play date with you scheduled on his cat calendar. I'm sorry he doesn't get that us humans need to sleep at night.

Hope the dose works out for you. :)

Yes I totally agree. It's habit rather than actually needing me for something. Last night (because I knew his levels were not low so I wasn't worried that he hadn't eaten) I tried calling him hoping he would come to bed but it didn't work :(

I wonder if he has a treat he likes if you could keep some in a cat proof jar near your bed and condition him to come to your call for a 2:00 treat and back to sleep with you?

hmmm I will think about that!
It's strange that he keeps doing it....I don't stir his food....I don't pet him....he gets no attention except I tell him "it's all gone" or "finish your fuds" etc.

Old habits die hard! Of course with the treats, you won’t have to get out of bed, but he may get fixated that 2:00 is treat time. He’s waking you up anyway, so at least you’re trading one less desirable behavior for a slightly more desirable one.

I'm always amazed at how good cats are at keeping time. Rusty is the same: wakes us up just before the alarm. Always knows when it's test time, etc. He doesn't like it when his routine is modified.

I hope Boomer can establish a new routine!!
