J.D. ate his breffis in 3.5 seconds, and went to head over to where Ginger was daintily licking at her meal. I told him "no" and got up take a look and distract J.D. and noticed that he still had some left in his bowl. So, I sprinkled freeze dried chicken liver treats on top of the food in each cat's bowl. J.D. finished his and headed over to Ginger's. I told him "no" and got up to take a look and distract J.D. By this time, Ginger had rolled/licked her Fancy Feast portion into a meatball and had taken it out of her bowl and was daintily licking away at it on the carpet :roll: J.D. went to her bowl and it was empty, and so finally decided to go lay in his doggy bed. End of Story.

Hopefully, J.D. will decide today is a good day to come down.

I'm glad Ginger got to eat, but sympathize with the cat food stained carpet. :roll:

Hi guys .. J.D., let's get down off that pink floor, ok? What is up with the kitties needing to eat directly on the carpet? Mocha does the same thing .. we have her bowl on the linoleum, but she can't have her paws on the linoleum .. so she crouches on the carpet while leaning over her bowl .. but eventually, she has all her food out of the bowl and onto the carpet ohmygod_smile Have a great weekend!

Glad Ginger got to eat her own breffis today. Maybe she like carpet fuzz mixed in with her meatball? :lol: Silly kitties. I wish it was easy to figure them out. I have one that licks walls and garbage cans. What the heck???
