Furball was happy & purry this morning. I hope she'll give me some blue when I come home.

They are saying the chemical levels have been in the range they need them to for 24 hours. Now they can start flushing the system. They will be doing that in zones. Hopefully today they will let everyone know what zone they are in so we can get an estimate for when we will get our water back. I haven't heard how long the flushing is supposed to take.

Nice, almost blue start for Miss Furball! I hope you are in one the first zones to get flushed. Maybe the end is finally in sight!

I'm not in one of the first zones. They announced the areas with the hospitals will be the first zones.

Hi Carla,
We are thinking positively that your water will be ready to use soon. The report we heard this morning on NPR was optimistic. Hopefully, too, there will be some modern regulations put in place. The official speaking this morning said that since the tank that ruptured was a "holding" tank, and not part of the coal-extraction process, no regulations applied to it!! That sounds like something that should be changed by the voters!

I'm so glad to hear that your water coming back is in sight! I hope it goes fast :cool: . That is a nice start for Furball, almost blue, you're getting there :-D I hope he slides down for you, and you have a good day!

YAY!!! Water on the horizon!!!

You might want to try my trick....retest when they are at the very low end of a floor and see if you get a lower number. For some reason, the second test for me is always lower than the first. I just know Furball is feeling blue today, though not the depression kind. :lol:

Hoping for a gentle slide down into the blue zone for Furball today.

Almost good news on the water, at least it's positive that they are starting to flush the systems. Maybe that means there'll be closer places you can go to get a shower like a gym or community center.
 
Furball gave me a nice surprise when I got home with that green. :mrgreen:

The map the Water Co. has of the zones is confusing. I can't tell when I'll get my water back, but at least they are starting the process. They've opened two zones so far.
 
Furball looks LOVELY tonight! And YAY on the prospect of having running water soon!!!!! :RAHCAT Sleep well, Carla and I'll keep praying for clean, running water for you all!
