Good morning.

I just didn't have quite enough gumption to post last night. These numbers are kind of depressing.

01/09
PMPS 368 (fed)
+2 372 (fed)
+6 350 (fed)

J.D. ate his breffis and is currently in his bed by the window.
Today, at +4 he goes to the vet for his biannual Total Health Plus blood work, and general check up.
I'll get the vet to look at that tooth, again, too.

He's certainly acting normal, since we got up.
I opened the refrigerator to get some cream for my coffee and as always J.D. was there with me looking inside. Before I knew it, he was grabbing a slice of steak from a plate on the bottom shelf. Little stinker.

J.D. has been fairly active this morning, and I was stalking the litter boxes in the basement waiting to get a ketone test.
He kept going up and down the stairs, I kept pretending to put things away down there, hoping he would go pee. He didn't, but he used the litter box that's a little too small for him and deposited a poo on the rim. I put that piece in a baggy (and J.D. got all excited when he heard the baggy because a lot of his refrigerated treats are kept in baggies). Maybe the vet will like the prezzie? The vet has never asked for a stool sample before.

I hate this range of numbers too Dyana....
So considerate of you to bring the vet a New year's gift...but I think a box of cookies might be a little nicer...no?
Oh well, you know your vet better than I do...maybe he will like what you wrapped in the baggie...I don't know.
Especially if he never asked for that before...it might be a nice surprise for him...... :lol:

Good morning guys .. sorry to see the higher numbers last night .. I know how those numbers can effect our moods .. I hope the vet visit goes well and hopefully the vet appreciates the bagged goodies .. twix was considerate enough to leave some fresh prezzies on the exam table for our vet last time ... have a great day guys!

The vet didn't want the prezzie I brought him :sad:

It's amazing how J.D. knew we were going. I hadn't even touched his carrier or sad the V word, and as I was ready to grab him to put him in the carrier, he was heading to basement to try to run away. Mind readers, they are, I tell ya.

Blood work will be back tomorrow. All systems seem good on the outside. I had him show me AGAIN how to palpate the bladder, just in case I ever need that skill. I bought some Cosequin. The vet said his remaining teeth are okay.

J.D. is happy to be home. I don't know how much outside walking we'll do today, as there are construction workers outside and all around our building, working on the roof.

how inconsiderate of your vet to turn down prezzies. glad all seems well so far
 
I am so going out for ice cream. I have been depressed with his numbers, all day, and this just tops it off.
I started a new cartridge tonight. The last one was 40 days old. Maybe I froze the last one or something, taking it to work.
 
Glad the vetty visit went ok and hope the bloodwork is all good. I hear you on the numbers and whenever Gracie's numbers are up, I head for anywhere with chocolate :lol: :lol: Somehow it helps!!! Let's hope he comes down tonight!
