Dyana, when you feed the 1st, 2nd & 3rd breffis, how far apart are they? an hour? Until I get a "real" job, I would like to do this for Tink & Tawny, but I wasn't sure how far apart to space them. & you only feed during the first half of the cycle, right? So after 3rd breffis if that's @ a.m. +3 they don't eat again til pm shot time, right? I mean unless you have to feed a dropping # or s/thg.

I'm not a good one to ask about this, Desi. J.D. is on Levemir, so his onset is about +4 and nadir is about +8.5.
And, my feeding schedule is way less stringent than others on this board.
On workdays: I feed 1/4 FF at AMPS, and 1/4 can FF before I leave, either at +1 or +1.5. I leave a feeder to open at +5 and at +7, and I leave frozen FF out.
Normally, the left out food is only partially touched or half eaten, but sometimes it's all gone when I return home from work, and then I wonder... Remember I have two cats, so I don't know who eats what. And I certainly don't know when the food was eaten.
I return home right at PMPS time, and I feed 1/4 can FF at PMPS, 1/4 can FF around bedtime like around +2, and another 1/4 can FF when I wake up in the middle of the night, around J.D.'s nadir. There is also the left out food from the afternoon to eat during the night.
On my days off: He gets 1/4 can FF at AMPS and 1/4 can FF at PMPS, and I usually feed two or three more 1/4 cans sometime after each PS, but before +9.
