How much of LANTUS do I give Nelli in AM.!?

Nelli has been through tough, tough times this week +?
Apparently not constipation...?

We got home tonight from Vet, and as Nelli (quickly :)) was coming out of anesthesia she was hungry! and... ate!
Ate almost 3oz
Darwin Lamb
(ahhh, Darwin, latest FDA trying to murder, victim!)!
Nelli is peaceful, calm and purring. Happi-ER :bighug:

Nelli had an open wound near her anus. Maggots had started to infest! | *We’d both have been ‘happier’ to have Vet discover at first visit, two days ago- right?!?
Went under full anesthesia to have wound removed of all maggots, damaged tissue cut out, wound abscess lanced and flushed.
Nelli has been rx, Buprenex .3mg, Onsior 6mg. and, Clavamox drops, 1ml X 15; 7.5 days.

Thank you to ALL for your interest, concern and, support. We love you :cat: :bighug:
I will be in (more communication) tomorrow.

IAmSpent. Tired. Hitting the rack- joining Nelli now :cat:

Poor Nelli & you. That poor baby had to have been in pain. Hopefully she's on the way to better days and you also. Speechless about the vet, but, anymore, what's new? Nelli has surely been through enough already. So happy she got to eat and enjoyed it.:bighug::bighug:

I'm glad you went back to the vet.
Poor girl, she must have been in quite a bit of discomfort.
Now let's see what the 2u will do for her, give it 6 cycles, count starting from 2/6 am dose, given you skipped the dose due to her having the procedure the counter resets to then.

Please keep us updated on Nellis' progress. This just broke my heart , poor Nelli couldnt tell you what was wrong, but, you knew something was. You're a good Nelli mom :bighug:
I imagine the next few days will be difficult, maybe a little longer :( Hang in there. I'm also happy you chose not to do that enema I suggested, I guess you knew it was more than that. Also your persistence paid off. Only mommy knows:):bighug::bighug:

Your persistence has paid off. Good for you and Nelli. Your intuitive cat mom skills are excllent. Nelli is so fortunate to have such a great health advocate. Rest well and may Nelli heal fully and quickly.
