@Wendy&Neko can you put into words your perspective on these wild swings? I know one of the vets would just say "He needs more insulin" but I don't think it's as simple as that.
 
We look at how low a dose is taking a cat to decide whether we need to change it. He got to at least 112 yesterday. Do you want him to go any lower? Any chance he might be bouncing? ;) It's been almost a month since he's gotten that low, his body isn't used to it.

No, I'm not talking about changing the dose. I'm trying to understand the process wherein he has high numbers, he gets an increase, he continues to have high numbers, dips low and goes back up. What is happening in his bodily response to insulin increases (all of this not even considering Cabergoline, but on its own). Then, of course, there's Cabergoline.
