The guy is behaving well, and ketones seems are gone down.

I'm posting for advice about tomorrow dose.

I am going to keep same dose of 4UI unless low numbers show up at tomorrow AMPS....

Please advice if you think i should do something different than this.

Also a question...is it normal that AMPS BG is usually higher that PMPS BG?

Thank you from me and also from Wally: we are very grateful that you taking care of him! :bighug:

Sounds like a good plan to me. Just keep checking the ketones daily. Being higher at AMPS is not uncommon. Sometimes it's from going lower overnight even if the numbers don't suggest any major drop. Sometimes you can bring the AMPS down by providing a snack sometimes in the early morning hours 3 or 4 hours before AMPS is due. If you don't have an autofeeder, you could freeze some cat food in an ice cube tray and sit it out before bed so it's melted later and Wally can have a snack without you having to get up.

A higher AMPS is not uncommon. It's referred to as "dawn phenomenon." In preparation for the activity of the day, the endocrine system releases stress hormones (i.e., cortisol). These cause a temporary rise in BG levels.

Leave the dose as it is. You need to give the depot some time to stabilize.
