Oh, that number is hard to post.

Good Morning. J.D. is acting normal. He purred a lot for his test. He actually jumped up onto the couch purring, wanting? me to test him, probably so he could get some food. He ate his 1st breffis and is currently laying in his bed by the window.

Please come down, nice and easy, J.D., please.

After AMPS I went btb for an hour (as I work a later shift today), and was just getting to sleep when I heard this awful noise. I had left J.D. in his bed in the living room. When he misses me, he grabs his toy (which is attached to a string attached to a wand) in his mouth and drags it to me, making those awful I-have-some-prey-for-you-in-my-mouth sounds. He jumped on the bed, and got lots of praise and lovins, while he purred :-D



Okay, 40 points down in 2 1/2 hours with a meal on board, is at least heading in the right direction. He has been seen drinking water this morning, so hopefully, I'll get a ketone test, soon.
I am sitting on my hands to not reach for the R, but I think I will bring it to work with me (J.D. goes to tbp with me on Sundays).

He just finished his 2nd breffis.

Lets keep coming down J.D. Please.

I hope he comes down on his own for you Dyana. I loved hearing about him bringing you his toy (quite loudly) when he misses you. Doubt you were laughing though.

I'm thinking that J.D. is still bouncing off of the 101 on 12/31. Once this bounce clears, what would you think about raising J.D.'s dose? You had a beautiful run of greens and it seems like J.D. lost that momentum.

I think he's bouncing from something. It might even be from something on the 30th. He does like to have delayed bounces.
Thanks, Sienne. I'd prefer to wait until the weekend (like Friday night, anyway) so I can be here to monitor him. Next weekend, I get 3 days off. I'll see how the week goes, maybe I'll change my mind and raise earlier.

I just want to reach for the R, becaue I know Levemir doesn't work well with these high numbers, right? And if I could get him down to the lower ranges, Levemir would have a chance to work. But, I know it will just make him bounce more :roll:

We're working our way down the rainbow.
That's a drop of 70 points in an hour with breffis #2 on board. Should I feed him now, to stop the steep drop?
I really have to log off now, to get ready for tbp. I usually feed him another meal about an hour or so after I get to work.

I tested him before I fed him at +5.5 and he was 307. I waited 15 minutes, and tested again at +5.75 and he is YELLOW 281!

I've actually left them on the floor in a bowl of water and watched J.D. have to fish them out (twice). I know I'm mean.

He just ate his 3rd dinner, already. He was drinking water, and licking the last of the 10% carb from Ginger's food bowl, so I figured he was pretty hungry. I'm thinking I should try to rest now.
