? 01/01 Chronos PMPS 288 +2 210 +3 130 +3.5 106 Think Muscle Shot

Bounces can last up to six cycles. If you get a +2 or +3 test, and it's about the same or higher than the AMPS, you can put away the test kit for the cycle. Think of bounce cycles as a chance to do something for you. More cuddling, less poking for Chronos.

K, yea was planning to do a +3 since +2 sometimes can't tell if food is still a factor or not. Ill also check the ketones then with the Nova Plus.

+3 was 286, any recommendations on checking further? He will eat normal meals at +4.5 and +8 and after his PMPS.

Yea, we normally can't get those since he eats at +5. Since we had to push his schedule back due to last night does open up that slot. Will do.

You don't need to limit when you do tests during the cycle based on his meals. The only time when you worry about feeding before a test is at preshot time, when you are new and learning his reactions to food.

Oh ok, thought someone said generally wait 2 hours after food, but yea guess good to know how he reacts to food in case of hypo situations.

I wonder if he will clear the bounce by the end of the PM cycle. Let's see where he is before you go to bed.

Just gave him his shot few minutes ago, might of hit a muscle not sure, he moved and did a pain meow as I was doing it. Not a fur shot though. I've been doing it between his rib and hip, but was a little closer to his leg this time when he moved.

Did he get some food after +2? If not, please feed him a little and let's see the +3. If still dropping, then you want to feed some more and and set an alarm for a later test. Leave some food out for him to graze on.

We can't leave food out, we have 2 two year old "kittens" who will devour his if they can, plus he would also probably just eat it all anyways, we haven't free feed them ever. He normally gets a one of his full meals at 4-430am which will be the +4.5 to +5.

Feed a little more of the RC. Can you stay up for a +4? Or at an alarm for a test at +4.5 when he gets his next meal?

I just checked him again, technically 3.5 but 20 or so minutes after eating at least a table spoon of the royal canin and he is at 106. What should I do?

Could be a combination of muscle shot and bounce clearing. Just feed another tsp of RC (even just the gravy is fine) and test at +4 or +4.5? He is still in safe numbers.

+4 is 105, think its ok to go to sleep? He would normally get his meal in 30-45 minutes, should we give him the normal amount if he will eat it? Also should I set a time to check afterwards?

How does he get his food in 30-45 mins? Autofeeder? Since he is clearing a bounce and has late nadirs, it would be good if you can get a +6 or +7 to be extra safe.

Gave some at +2.5, +3, +3.5. Then just gave almost normal meal little less than 3/4 of the 3oz can just now which will be +5 in 7 minutes.
