There is a neighborhood forum that I read for local stuff (it is kinda like facebook but not) and a gal posted an "urgent - please help me find my cat, she got out" a week or so ago with a picture. She posted about 4 hours later - "oops - nevermind, found him". He had gotten into a closet and up on the top shelf - lol.

I honestly have NO idea what is going on with him. I did eliminate the AVJ last night (so this is 3rd cycle w/o). He is feeling good. Been perched by the fireplace all day - getting up to eat, use the LB, get lovin's and brushes - basically, feeling really good. He is also on a different mixture of food but he has had all of them before so - really, no change there.
 
Go Gizmo. Sometimes they just need to go up a little bit to kickstart their numbers and get them surfing. Maybe that's what is going on. I hope he surfs safely tonight.

Thanks Carla - More worried about tomorrow (back to work). So glad hubby got a nap today because he is going to have to be the one that stays up with him (test). I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night (and I didn't get a nap today) due to the fireworks in the neighborhood - I can't blame them, but still, it was very difficult to sleep.

Fireworks are my least favorite form of entertainment, and I have verified that since 9pm last night.
But it was so very cold up here -24-39F all day that it was a spotty disturbance at best. I thought I might freeze entirely when I walked down to the pond to feed the ducks. Had to, way too cold for them to forage, plus about 40 migrating ducks have arrived.

Somehow my outdoor cats are making it through. Plenty of food probably helps.
