? New member Lowest PMPS number so far (7.7mmol/L // 139mg/dl) - do I do the insulin or no?

I see you had a 68 during the 8/15 a.m. cycle. Did J eat at +2? I thought you were already giving snacks at +2 and maybe around +4.

It would be good to see if a little low carb (anything up to 10 percent) given when she’s at 68 would help her to surf in green numbers without bumping her up to blue. Of course, if she’s below 68 then you could try medium carb (up to 15 percent) or high carb (probably depending upon if she’s just below 68 or if she’s quite a bit lower then of course go for honey and gravy food. The actual food help support the BG for a longer time whereas the honey pr just gravy without the food wears off more quickly.

Hi, yes her +2 snack was 5g chicken breast and half churro, she wasn't interested in much else. at +4 Dine Salmon and Tuna soup + 5g chicken breast and 2 temptations. Shouldn't have given the 2 temptations in retrospect. Probably led to the red number PMPS

I was hoping to check in an see how J has been doing. I cannot get the spreadsheet to open. I hope that is just a technical difficulty on my end and all is well.

How are you and J doing? I see some nice green numbers and some blues. 😀 It’s funny how her numbers are better in the daytime, when often cats have lower numbers at night. Does she eat less in the daytime?

Hi, we are well thank you! J's number's have been a bit funny since that low- some high numbers. but hopefully it'll come right. She does have breakfast and I give her +2,+4 snacks when im home, but when im not I leave it out. She usually eats the chicken breast +2, but doesn't touch the +4 snack. When I get home if is not too late in the day (too close to PMPS next shot), I'll give her a treat and she'll eat that lol. She's very picky and goes on and off the other snacks I give her. She has started howling the house down about 4-6am, must be witching hour lol - I think she's just hungry. Thanks for checking in with us!
