We have an appointment with the vet later in the month where she will be weighed, she has been putting weight on since August.

This is a shot from September 2010 where she and her brother, Mulder, are checking a map to find where their new forever home was.

And this is Scully from the same month showing toe beans

Yes, we still have Mulder. He is hale and hearty, and besotted with Jools. They both will be 16 in July.

Just back from the vet, Scully is doing fine. She has put on another 500g since the last visit about two months ago, so now weighs 4.2Kg. Arranging a blood test in the near future.

But all good news.

We are off on our holidays in the morning, and Scully and the rest of the cats are going int a cattery. The owner has experience with diabetic cats, and so will inject Scully, though she says in her experience that testing an already stressed cat won't give accurate readings. So we are planning on Scully receiving 3.25 or 3.5 units, twice a day.

It is a shame we are going away now, as Scully's readings have been just about perfect, but we both need to get away.

So, there we have it.

The cats should be being taken at about 16:30 today, we will feed and test Scully before she goes.
