Well…well…well. Goodmorning everyone! Happy Sunday!!!! Day #1 of Lola’s OTJ trial AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Well technically she started no insulin last night but I guess today’s day 1? lol 🤣 But of course I got a blue ambg for day 1…. I was so done 😔 I started to think maybe she wasn’t ready but I calmed myself down and read over the OTJ rules again. If I get a blue ambg/PMBG to retest again at +3 or +4 and check if she goes down to green, which she DID!!! If someone can confirm that’s a good sign her pancreas is working? Ahhh 😭 I will now leave her alone until her PMBG check. I’m so nervous that it’s going to be blue too….I just need a lot of prayers and fingers crossed that Lola gets through this trial and doesn’t fail 😔😔😔

feeling a little sad by the next blue pmbg 😔 it’s not high at all by any means but I look at other otj spreadsheets and only see green so I’m like doubting myself for starting her trial. I know her vet recommended we give it a go but I’m still feeling a little down by the blues 😔 Lola’s doing so great, she’s super duper cuddly today 💗 will be checking her again at +3 since she gave me another blue for her pmbg. wish us luck!
