4-30 Leroy AMPS 103 +3.5 168 (AlphaTrak at vet)

Boing  As usual, he's still sleepy from yesterday. He didn't quite finish breakfast even with the odansetron I gave him last night.

He managed to get the cone off his head in the carrier while we were waiting for the tech to find the rest of the meds. The vet gave us another bag of fluid and tubing and more needles in addition to more Cerenia and odansetron. More fluids to use with the ones on their way from Chewy.

Civvie is looking for water in the sink to lick up. And drinking from the water bowl more. Pee output isn't any more than usual. She had bloodwork done in March with Leroy and kidneys were fine. That's the last thing I need - another cat with kidney issues :nailbiting::blackeye: Civvie will not tolerate fluids at all. Vet is off today and won't be checking in with his secretary.

Someone on IO said to get Leroy checked for Cushing's. @Wendy&Neko do you think the kidney issues are somehow related to Cushing's? I did read the sticky on high dose conditions and thin fragile skin is one symptom. Bgs aren't bad and 3 units isn't a high dose.

Thanks @Tim & Pookey ! I was Googling cover letter templates for a career change but none of the ones I could find were quite right. My resume could probably use a refresh. I'll have to ask some people I used to work with if they can take a look since they're familiar with the industry and what recruiters are looking for buzzword-wise or whatever.

He didn't eat his +4 snack. And he didn't quite finish dinner. Hopefully it's a one off thing and doesn't mean something more serious :nailbiting: I'm armed with meds for p-itis. The Mirataz is still good. I opened that on April 15. The vet's current resident is on site this weekend if anything happens. She seems nice, at least over the phone.

I ordered 4 packs of tubing, 2 bags of fluids, and 120 odansetron pills from Chewy. What I got was 2 packs of tubing, 1 bag of fluids, and 5 pills. It wasn't my vet who approved the order and wrote the prescription. It was another vet who, from what I've heard from others, isn't that great. The only reason why I'm getting odansetron from Chewy is that 120 pills costs the same amount as 5 pills I had been getting directly from the vet hospital. Leroy needs half a pill every single day. I am not placing an order every single week for more pills. Looks like I'm still getting two boxes of Terumos from Thriving Pet but they're 19 gauge, not the 20 gauge ones I put in the cart and ordered :arghh: This vet can go sit on a 🍍🍍🍍 . My vet's secretary will get an earful about these orders on Monday.
