Just wondering if anyone's diabetic cat seemed to get more sleepy than usual. I feel like my baby sleeps after he gets his snack around 4-430pm. It's has been happening since Sunday.
have you been feeding him 3-5 during the day? in this case since you have not been giving insulin yet, when you start insulin you need to feed at least 3-4 times during the day plus the 2 meals before insulin shot, if he has Ketones, they take a toll in the cats' system, food helps ketones, he needs to eat, you have not mentioned if the labs had negative or positive ketones, when positive is vey important he eats well, I will tag a couple of members that have great knowledge in KetonesJust wondering if anyone's diabetic cat seemed to get more sleepy than usual.
