Side question: anyone here have a Chewy membership and found it to be worth the membership price? I've been ordering some of his food from there recently, as one of his primary flavors is no longer sold at any stores here and am impressed with the lack of dented cans so far. It seems that the 5% rewards would quickly cover the membership price

I didn't even realize they had that option. I guess they haven't been promoting it all that aggressively? Damn. Now that Gen is switching to food I can't get there, of course that's when I learn about this.

As someone who has used Chewy for the majority of my pet supplies for over a decade, I'll say that I've rarely had any significant problems with their shipping. I would have found a membership absolutely worthwhile (not sure now, I'm going to have to see how Gen's dietary stuff pans out). I already really appreciated the convenience and discounts with their autoship program. (Of course, part of what made them as worthwhile to me personally is that shopping for pallets of heavy cans at brick and mortar stores has never been very practical for me as a non-driver. But even so?)

Just set up the free trial of chewy+ and will join. I think it will be a lot easier ordering all his supplies from there rather than checking which store has his flavor in stock.

In late December, the great FF chunky chicken shortage started. I had to track down the last few remaining cans in the whole metro New Orleans area Now I keep a large surplus on hand to avoid issues.

Ha, that explains why I hadn't seen that flavor in the store before! I do sometimes pick up a few cans of a different FF flavor for Gen to try, and the chunky chicken seemed to appear out of nowhere a week or two back.
