Jude came back down to normal numbers with his AMPS, but has jumped back up at +2. He wouldn't eat for me this morning until I syringe fed him a bit, and then he picked up on his own. I'm continuing with his Ondansetron plus his regular supplements and Gaba and Prozasin. He gets his second injectable antibiotic shot this afternoon. By the way, we are doing injectable antibiotics beause the last oral Clavamox was so hard on his stomach, so we're trying to bypass the tummy/gut.

Wishing everyone an uneventful day with beautiful mumbers!

Hi Mary, I hope Jude feels better and starts to eat better once all the meds kick in for him.
I hope the injectable AB works well! I am curious how it works for him!!!

Hope his tummy is feeling better today, too. His BG looks much better today ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿˆ :bighug: :bighug: ๐Ÿ˜ป

Jude was a bit reluctant to eat tonight despite me giving him Ondansetron 1 hour prior to feeding. He eventually ate enough to give the shot, so I didn't need to resort to syringe feeding. I haven't seen any diarrhea in the box today, but I'm not sure he's over it yet. He had about four diarrheas yesterday, and with him not eating quite so much, it's possible he just hasn't worked up a bowel movement yet. Fingers crossed that the antibiotic is doing it's job, and he's getting over this. I'm trying to give extra water in his food since he doesn't drink, and I worry about him becoming dehydrated. And he is also getting probiotics.

We have a water fountain. The ONLY time he has drunk from it is when he was first diagnosed with diabetes, and a few times subsequent, but only when he was sick. He rarely ever drinks. Hazel is worse than Jude (I have actually NEVER seen her drink water from a bowl or fountain)! So I load their food with water. That little water fountain is pumping away over there in the corner, completely ignored.
