Morning,

As Arya’s numbers have been dropping to the limes a few hrs after shot and remaining there we opted not to give her the PM shot at 52 as we were going to bed but monitored for a few hours.
This morning she was 106 so we gave he to the tiniest bit we could put in the needle and she was 43 when we tested her 3.5 hrs later.

Seems like someone doesn’t want insulin anymore. Looks like her pancreas is healing very well ❤️‍🩹 🙏💕

Any guidance for Lisa and Arya?

The next dose down is something we call a drop. Basically push the plunger of the syringe in as hard as you can, put the needle into the insulin container, release the plunger pressure and that will vacuum up a drop.

Are you feeding her several small meals spread throughout the day? At this point, a +8 or +9 small snack should kick start her almost healed pancreas into creating it's own insulin, and bring down the preshot value. Ideally we'd like to see solid greens at this point before going to an OTJ trial. That might have helped get rid of that 106 this morning.

Thanks for The advice Wendy, much appreciated. We will try the drop! It wouldn’t have been so bad if it was day time that she had the 52 pre-shot then we could h an d watched her if we had given the shot but those limes are a little scary!

Yes… I’m following her around feeding her… she thinks I’m crazy 😁
