and here we are again 🙄🙄 ugh what a night. I knew her PMPS of 114 would be an issue. Bella wouldn’t finish her dinner so when I checked her at +3 she was 72, gave her a snack and she only ate some so at +74 I put something in her autofeeder because it was time for bed and I was exhausted. I heard meowing and when I checked the time it was 2:15 am (eastern standard time) and I looked and saw she hadn’t ate so I thought maybe she was low so I checked and she was 118. I threw some treats on top and went back to bed and eventually I heard her eating (because I couldn’t fall back to sleep 🙄🙄) around 3 something and then her AMPS were 254. So either what we gave her was too high or she still bounced. So frustrating

We’ve had similar cycles when that happens overnight. Sigh. 😔

Hope Bella comes down gently today 🌊🏄‍♀️😻

Did you give a shot last night? The cell is blank.
Also, did you ever take her in for a checkup to make sure something underlying isn't going on?
I sure hope you can find a solution to her duration issue  I'd like to get Jude's AM preshot numbers down a bit, too, and he does have some underlying issues, so we just have to deal with that. I know this is frustrating for you because she was so steady there for a while. FWIW, I often wonder if, overtime, the pancreas shifts in its ability to function correctly, sometimes doing a better job than at others. It would make sense because we know that the pancreas can start working again and resume the insulin function; if that's the case, perhaps at times it just doesn't work as well. It's a guess. Sending scritches to beautiful Bella!

I fixed it. Her appointment is Monday the 16th. Diabetes is a mystery for sure.
