Yesterday

I have been experimenting with feeding Owl two small meals (1/4 of a 3oz can) in the afternoons instead of one larger meal at lunchtime. So we do a small snack at +6 and another small snack at +9. I have noticed the last two days that his PMPS number is quite a bit lower than it used to be. Maybe his pancreas has decided to show up to work again. It goes back up overnight because I have not figured out a way to get him a snack at 3am.

I did err on the side of "probably slightly less than .1 unit" this evening.

Hi Amy, do you have an auto feeder? You could set it for the overnight cycle to give a snack to Owl.
Many of us use those for that purpose. They have cooler packs to keep food fresh.
Or you could make a “catsickle” of the desired food and have it thaw so it’s fresh for him to eat overnight.

I do have a refrigerated autofeeder but I fill it with his breakfast meals before bed. So it's already full with no room for a midnight snack. I am pretty sure he'd wolf down a frozen catcicle without a pause haha.

I'm tempted - it's that or start waking up at 3am LOL. I may try feeding him a small snack before I go to bed (I am a night owl by nature) and see how that influences numbers in the morning before I commit to another feeder.

He already camps out by the feeder, at this rate he'll never leave
