Amps 266 Libre

Well, Ivy got another increase today, a bit higher than normal (micro dose with calipers).
She’s bouncing for long stretches in pinks on her Libre for many hours or entire cycles
Not her norm.
She seems to need more insulin all of a sudden.
Not really sure what’s going on there.
Vet suggests small increases to see how she does. That’s what I do anyway.
Normally she’s very reactive to a small dose increase.

I expect a strong response to the increase today

Meeting with my nutritionist today to discuss various things.
And trying to work, too

So tough when they start to unexpectedly need more insulin than is normal. Ivy does usually respond pretty well to the little changes in dose, so I hope the increase goes well but not too much that she gives you scary limes!

Thanks, Briana. It is scary when you think you kind of have a small clue into their regular trends.
Things have been a bit different lately. But Ivy has so many things going on...so it makes it hard.

Good luck with the increase and the nutritionist etc. And sympathies on (relatively) sudden changes in norms - I know how that can knock you for a loop! Ivy's AM cycle looks pretty good - I hope she refrains from either bouncing to the moon, or keeping you up all night with scuba antics!

Thanks Maddie. So worried about this new trend.
I tried a new pen just in case, but the other one appeared fine.
I think she will just need more insulin, just need to give the dose a few days to see what happens

I hope Kai has a very safe surf too!
