Amps 400 Libre

Oof what an amps
Yesterday was actually a nice am cycle. She even dipped to green on her Libre.
She seemed to do better with BG, less peeing and drinking.

Last night she bounced up again and this morning is high again.

Spoke with her vet yesterday and urinalysis results from Monday were normal. So, no infection. Good news there.

He’s not sure why her BG is higher lately.
Said we may know more when we retest labs second week of February to see T4 and kidney values.
(Maybe thyroid is more under control since the most increase in Methimazole?)

Plan is I will keep increasing insulin dose to try to get her back to better values. Vet suggested to go very slowly, but consistently, to bring down overall BG.

It’s frigid here today. We saw -3 around 5 am. I don’t like it this cold. Thankful for a heated home
I have to go out later around mid day. Not looking forward to even being out!
