What a screwed up day yesterday! I call the vet to order a GI panel. Not sure how it happened but the vet ended up ordering a T4 test and the appt was made for yesterday at 4:20pm. I knew the TLI test at least required a 12 hour fast so I questioned it and the receptionist said, its ok. But I still did feel right so i called back to confirm the test and they told me the T4 test had been ordered. But I wanted at GI PANEL!!! So I rescheduled the test for this morning so I could fast her 12 hours. Then she went hypo at what was supposed to be PMPS, so I texted them to cancel the appt. Then I called and called again this morning, finally getting thru. I was then told that it was still a T4 that had been ordered. WTF?????? BTW, 2 months ago her T4 was 2. and shed been losing weight already at that point, so I dont believe its a thyroid issue. June 2025, she weighed 13.5lbs. Now shes 10.8lbs.
Anyway, getting a real person on the phone I officially canceled the appt and asked for the vet to call me. Im tired now and its not even 10am.

I skipped her shot last night and gave 0.1 this morning. But Im thinking maybe if I give 0.25 and give her a little HC dry around +4 that maybe I can deter her from going hypo??? I dont know. Plus I still Have to see why shes losing weight.

Ugh, I am so sorry about vet shenanigans. That's exhausting and not what you need on top of worrying about Karamelle!

Unfortunately shes gone up even more. Im raising the dose back to 0.25 tonight.

Time to put on the patience pants. Those high numbers are because you skipped a shot and not because the dose is too low. You know that 0.25 gets her into limes. Any way you can find a slightly skinny 0.25 units or fat. 0.1 unit dose?

That skinny 0.25 (or fat 0.1) was what I was going for when I drew the dose up last night. I gave that this morning. But when I gave it I wasnt sure if it was any more than a real 0.1 so I didnt write the fat in there. I will try for a tiny bit less than 0.25 tonight. Im just so tired of this. Having a bad day/s just in general.
