Hope you're having a nice, calm Sunday today, friends, with safely surfing kitties. 💚

It looks like we're in for an interesting, perhaps rather active, cycle today. After spending most of yesterday in outer space, I think what I'm seeing is a bounce-breaking PM cycle (with a very late nadir, +10.25), and we may be at the start of another dive. Which is surprising to me, since this is only his third cycle on this dose, and four cycles ago he only had a half-dose (due to the unavailability of a PMPS value).

I was hoping to take myself out for a few hours, as it's my last day of freedom before I return to the office tomorrow. I guess I'll see.

Speaking of late nadirs/nadirs in general ... I've noticed that Gen's seem to be really inconsistent, while some cats around here have theirs at a fairly predictable point in most cycles. Is this because he's so unregulated, I wonder? Or just ECID?

In the beginning, Xander's nadirs were also incredibly inconsistent and often extremely late, which frustrated me for months because I was looking for patterns and there basically were none. It was only in hindsight that I saw when that they were all bounce-breaking cycles, we weren't really getting any useful information yet. It wasn't until we stopped having such reactive cycles that they started to make more sense and have some consistency. The number of hours I spent scouring posts about "late nadir"... Lol

Enjoy your last day of freedom! 💜

That's reassuring to hear!

Totally unrepentant about potentially keeping me home today:

Hi Allie,
They can also have a Lantus double dip, which is where they come down late in the cycle, not quite as low as the nadir.

Hoping he flattens out and surfs well.
He looks pretty happy that at the moment you’re home with him 🥰

I know, and a lot of his cycles have a bunch of ups and downs, but I'm tracking the lowest point in each cycle separately and you can see that they're quite erratic

Thank you. ❤️ I'm enjoying hanging out with him too, even if I don't get to go see a rare bird today! 😝
