Good morning all, hope all kitties and their peeps are doing well. We’ve had a very busy few days.
Ivy is doing fine. She had a very active overnight on 12/25 and I was up feeding her carbs. It was a very long night
Gave a tiny reduction on 12/26 given that I had to be out of the house a good bit and my schedule is a bit disrupted in the next few days with the holiday and everything.
I didn’t want to take any chances of her going too low and be having to be out.
I will probably bump her back up again at the new year when everything settles and I am sure I’m around constantly.
We have a vet tech appointment this coming Tuesday to check her T4 again after giving a slight increase in her methimazole a month ago.
Will also check her B12 values which will get sent to VDI labs in California. They were extremely high a few months ago and we stopped giving B12 to see if we can figure out if it was the supplementation I was giving for the neuropathy.
Her neuropathy doesn’t seem any worse.
She still walks on her rear hocks, but she is able to walk fine, jumps up on the sofa and is able to climb the Pet steps no problem to get onto my bed.
So many things to be checking on all the time
