Civvie breakfast an hour later. On the bed Fortunately I have a pet blanket thing covering the comforter so I grab that off before the liquids could soak through (no waterproof backing. Need to look at post-holiday sales) and cleaned it up as best as I could and put it into the washing machine. I'll run the machine a little later. Too early and the upstairs will complain.

Leroy's eyeing that spaceship Fat 2.5 units isn't doing much anymore. Either that or the insulin is BIPO. There's still about 40 units left in the pen. I've gone through this generic pen a lot faster than with a Lantus pen The generic also is bubbly when I draw insulin into the syringe.

Ugh, I get so many bubbles all the time. Im using Levimir tho. I think it has something to do with the syringes. Some bubble more than others. Ive actually had to squirt out the entire amount of insulin and start over. New canister, almost used canister, doesnt make a bit of difference.

The only syringes I could get to work with Levimir were Monojects. The BDs are hit or miss with the generic Lantus. Sometimes they work just fine, other times I get those teeny tiny bubbles that are impossible to get out.

Today was curve day. I don't think Koha venison works for Leroy. He had that for his +4.5 snack and bgs went up. +6.5 snack was Koha rabbit and bgs went down. It's a trend I've noticed whenever he gets venison. No more venison for Leroy

Vet's secretary is back tomorrow. She has a whole week's worth of Leroy issues to catch up on
