OMG I am a terrible mother... I forgot to reset my alarm for 6 am so I woke up at 7:50 in a panic.

Pip was at 344...

Now that I shot at 8, how to I get back to 6 am?

Should I stay at 8 for the holidays now that it's done?

Hi Sarah! It's up to you if you want to adjust back or not. Here is a link that shows how we adjust for one hour with daylight savings time. You can make the adjustment likewise for two hours to get back on track. Have a lovely day!!

Should I stay at 8 for the holidays now that it's done?

Whether you stay at 8 for the holidays is really a question for you and your schedule! If it's more convenient to do that, then absolutely. We shoot at 9a/9p usually but are doing 10:00 this week because we'll need to be out later for various events.

When we've had to adjust forward/back hours, I found it helpful to set calendar reminders on my phone for each individual shot during that interim time. So to move back from 10 to 9 next weekend I would set reminders for 9:45a, 9:30p, 9:15a, and finally 9p to get where I want to go.
