I went in and got my assignments for these classes and can do them from home.I know it's hard enough to work sick, can't imagine having to go to school feeling real bad. Hope you're able to grab all you need without sitting through hours of that. Feel better!
And food, don't forget to eat even if you don't feel like it. My son will do one or the other, but don't forget to fuel yourself. Most of us caregivers don't get to taking proper care of ourselves when we have animals that need constant help or work. My husband laughs at he and often says.... If you don't take care of yourself, who's going to take care of them?I went in and got my assignments for these classes and can do them from home.
For now I will take Pip's plus 3 at 9 and then go back to sleep a bit, it's the best way to heal![]()
You just don't want to feed MC/HC right now since 94 is a safe number. If he typically eats some LC at this time in the cycle, I would feed him some of that. You want to try not to feed a couple of hours prior to the preshot--that way you get a non-food-influenced number. Congrats on the greenie! If it were Jude, I'd test in an hour just to make sure there are no shenanigans going on with that +6 number. When Jude has big drops from the preshot number (like the 311 to 94), I like to make sure he's not nose-diving. If he does go lower, use food to bump him up a bit and keep him surfing, if necessary.OMG The Pipster still had some surprises up his sleeve!
Just woke up from my nap to more greeeens! amazing!
So just to be clear, he is at 94 at +6 so I should not feed until PMPS?
my instinct would be to give him a lil snack now?
The nap helped I think I am starting to feel better yay!
Ok I gave him his usual fancy feast petite that my roommate usually give him when she gets up around 10:30... I admit I slept more than planned and he didnt get his +4 snackYou just don't want to feed MC/HC right now since 94 is a safe number. Ok thank god it's not just me his nadir is a complete mystery every day!Yes! The 2.25 depot is definitely showing up! That's great that he is have a nice little green surf! Keep checking him hourly until he begins going up.
Something for analysis: Pip's nadir is a little difficult to pin down; my guess is this is likely because he is newly diagnosed, and he's gone through a few dose changes, so he hasn't really developed a firm pattern yet (and some kitties never do--ECID), but I find it helpful to know when Jude's nadir is because then I can determine if he is still going to be dropping in a cycle or when he is going to start rising in numbers as he moves toward the end of the cycle. Some kitties actually can have two nadirs on Lantus, so there are no hard fast rules, but it's something to keep an eye on. Also, cats are notoriously unpredictable, so while the data is good to gather, cats can always do exactly what they want.
Gosh, he is precious. Hard work indeed, Pipster!Meanwhile he is passed out in the closet.
It's hard work for mr Pip

Thank you Mary for all the help, you're an angelBecause you're still building data, I might grab one more test before you go to bed and then call it a day.
He's such a beautiful boy!!
