So we got back to yellow even after the tweak up to 6.25. It’s like the effectiveness of each progressive increase diminishes and I end up feeding lower & lower carbs to keep levels down. Whereas generally after an increase, I often have to feed a lot, higher LC food. The AM (overnight) cycle continues to be resistant early, but then has a drop late.

That yellow was very short lived. If you hadn't taken that +1.4 test, it would have been "blink and you miss it". ;) Don't worry about such short term yellows. Overall looking much better.

Great point. Sometimes I have too much data! It’s a disease of my own. I have been trying to back off and it’s really hard. Thx for the response.

Looking great! For Bell, who's much more of a bouncer than Minner, I've noticed the stronger doses don't eliminate her bounces but prolong the time between bounces and shorten the length of the bounce. I think I've read on here that a lot of cats will ease up on the bounces (maybe eliminating them entirely) as time goes on on the right dose (please correct me more experienced folks if that is a misstatement). Minner has been getting a bit more bouncy in November, so she may just need a bit more time getting used to those sustained greens. I sure wish Bell would :p

Minner's general trend on this dose is looking real good!

Thanks Seth. I’m going with this observation and will stick to this dose as long as I can and continue using carb content decisions to manage curve as best as I can.

I’ve been thinking alot about Bell’s bg curve, which seems difficult to map/chart, and it makes me wonder if she has “sputtering pancreas”. I think Maddie may have mentioned that phrase about Kai a while back. Like sometimes it contributes insulin and sometimes it offers up nothing. I would like to know how much insulin Minner is creating on her own, and if perhaps she’s actually creating a fair amount but her body is resisting it. An academic conversation really, since the mgmt of the condition might not change even if I had the answers to these questions. I’d need to know the answers in advance! Ha.

Thanks again. Good luck with the 6.
