Thank you. I hate stabbing my poor baby, and I've been doing it 1.5 months now. :/I always liked to try to see a rise before I stopped testing for that cycle, just to be safe. Plus it helps you narrow in on that typical nadir area for the future.
He looks so cozyHe's peacefully snoozing next to me as we get to to the 1hr mark, but I'll get him up soon.![]()
Using the pet meter. I was hoping one day to use the Relion, so out of curiosity and wanting to both familiarize myself with it & see the difference in numbers, I use it some of the time and write it down in the comments. He looks so cozy
I love his colors and stripes. One handsome boy
Just checking, are you using a pet meter or the Relion mentioned in your remarks on the spreadsheet?
Want to be sure you’re using the correct spreadsheet for the meter
You’re both doing great!![]()
No problem, just wanted to make sure all was right so you get the correct adviceUsing the pet meter. Thanks for checking
Am I going to need to stay up again if he goes into the 100's again? Like the night before? Test every hour or is it 2, until flat or begin to rise?Don't forget to update the spreadsheet with the latest data. Looks like you are done testing until PMPS.
Ok, got a reading just now at 472 after 4hrs. I'm not sure if maybe not enough blood? Does that happen too? You'd said too little blood, it can show as low. Can it show the opposite in High too? Not sure if I should stay up another hour or notI'm not good at predicting the future. Let's see that +2 or +3 and go from there. You are looking for rate of dropping. Not that they always drop at the same rate, but it it's steep and it doesn't look like he's stopped dropping, you have to keep monitoring.
