? Suggestions to calm a spicy cat, CBD?

Hi All,

Does anyone have any suggestions for CBD brand or some sort of calming aid for a spicy cat? Zyler can get aggressive and sometimes bites me and recently my boyfriend moved in with his 2 cats which sometimes makes him a little more on edge. While they’re all doing well and learning their boundaries, we’ve seen a bit of food and toy guarding. He also is sensitive to loud noises and tends to bite if I’m laughing out loud and such, naturally the house is a lot louder these days. I’ve always used the feliway plugs but wondering if CBD or something might help chill him a bit more, but don’t want to mess up his diabetic remission as we are nearly 2 years off insulin.

No help here but I notice the DCN in the background in the first picture 😀 Do you have rats?

If you search the forums, you might find old threads on CBD in general.
 
When we were transitioning Esse to indoor life, we used calming treats that have thiamine (vitamin B1), L-theanine, and chamomile. I can dig up a link for you if you're interested BUT I'm 99% sure they'd be considered high carb, they were little crunchies. I wonder if there are other treats or supplements out there that use the same active ingredients but lower carb?
