Happy Caturday everyone 😻
Looking like I will be giving an increase tomorrow, too much yellow 😞
Sooo, she’s been watching some birdie TV 📺 this week for entertainment. She goes and sits in front of the television and looks up, asking for some programming 🥰

Gave an increase in a supplement which I had to back off on 2 weeks or so ago as it gave her softer stools.
Anyone used Adored Beast Felix’s Flora?
I’ve read it can cause some gastrointestinal issues, so not uncommon.
She’s got a somewhat fragile GI tract so I have to watch that things don’t make her too dicey.
Hope you all have a relaxing weekend and safe surfs 🌊🏄‍♂️🏄🏼‍♀️😻

Ohmygoodness how cute is she. When you said "bird tv" i imagined her sitting at the back door and watching birds in the garden 🐦 🐦‍⬛ 🦜
This definitely tops that. Queen Ivy and her giant TV 😹
We hope you had a wonderful outing tonight.
Happy caturday 😘🐈🤗🐈‍⬛💞🍁🥰

been a rough few days. on wednesday mid-day she just stopped eating, drinking, purring etc. i spent most of that day holding her trying to make her comfortable--her numbers were good (mid 100's to mid 200's, which is good for her) but she clearly felt bad. I tucked her in at night like normal and she wouldn't purr, which is unusual for her at bedtime. i could just tell she felt bad. when i woke up at 3 am to check her she hadn't drunk any water at all, which is very unusual, so i took her into the e-vets and they diagnosed her with dehydration, a fever, and a kidney infection that began in her bladder and worked it's way up. she was there 4 days and we just got her home yesterday. looks like they have the infection under control with antibiotics but her kidneys have had a rough few years. the diabetes doesn't help, and she's now had 22 uti's since the accident that left her back legs paralyzed in 11/21 occurred. they have tripled her sub-cue fluid intake (from 100 mls 3x week to 150 mls daily) to keep her kidneys flushed. and she's comfortable now, happy, enjoying movies in my lap and this lovely fall weather we're beginning to get here. but the message from the vet was pretty clear though. her kidneys continue to worsen and at some point subcue fluids and antibiotics won't fix it and then she'll have discomfort and pain every day, and i can't have that.

sorry to dump--oregano is doing really well and feels great. i'm a mess though because it got real for me over the weekend and i know i'm probably in my last october with her, and i'm just trying to focus on each day and not what is the inevitable last day down the line.
