My mistake scares me


I have made my biggest mistake for the first time in 3 years, I forgot to give Corky his shot at 6:00PMPS, for some reason I forgot to take out the ready
syringe, just now at 8:00PM gave him the shot I must admit, according to how his BG is at AMPS, I can give him his shot at the regular time???? :eek::eek::eek:

No. Not if you shot two hours late. You can’t give him the shot at +10

remember that his shot time is at 6:00 AM tomorrow, my stomach got loose over this HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTEN!!!!!! I hate myself right now, I haven't stopped crying since I found out at 8:00 PM (+2) when I tested him and realized it😥😥😥
 
It would only be ten hours past his shot tonight if you give insulin again at 6 a.m. can you shoot tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m. and evening shot at 7:30 p.m.

The next morning shoot at 7 a.m. and evening shot at 7 p.m.

The next morning shoot at 6:30 a.m. and evening shot at 6:30 p.m.

Then, finally, the following morning shoot at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and you are back on schedule.
 
of course, but he feeds at 6:AM, his last meal tonight is at 10PM that would be too many hours without food,, so can I feed at 6AM and shoot at 7:30 and continue the countdown? they wake up sooo hungry

Yes. I think it would be okay to feed him at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning and to shoot at 7:30. Corky doesn’t get a food bump from his LC food so it’s not going to mess up his AMPS test.
 
Come on Corky, give us a good AMPS later this morning! (At 7:30)!

Don’t forget to take the 911 off of this thread title. It could just say, Help - Late Shot or something like that.

That’s exactly what I’m praying for, and yes I took the 911 out of title last night, I have my alarm for 7:30

Hooray! I told you Corky would get back to work in no time. Beautiful greens for Corky. He wanted to show you that there was no harm done (except he’s glad you only shot 30 minutes early this morning because he says an hour early would have been too much!) Now he wants to hang out with his parrot friend.
