4/22 | Jude: AMPS 128; +9.5 128; PMPS 121; +2 75; +3 66; +4 71

Whether it’s right or wrong, the target I had in my head was 70s. Like if he hit the 70s it didn’t feel like we had much room to increase. Gosh some of those pre-shots are a mystery though…
Yes, 70 seems like a reasonable guideline. A couple of nights ago, I feel he definitely would have fallen below 60 had I not carbed him, and I'm reading some information in that FD book I just purchased that suggests that below 60 isn't within the optimal range. That said, his numbers, generally, are rarely below 70, so it seems that I'm focusing on just a few incidences of low numbers to make a decision to withhold an increase. BUT (and thanks for letting me talk this out) if I want to keep him above 60, perhaps I need to keep his dose right where it is for the time being. IDK. As most everyone knows, I had truly hoped to get Jude back into remission, but I'm accepting the reality that that might not be in the cards for him, and I need to be, and am, content with tightly regulated.

I wouldn’t give up hope yet! No doubt these numbers are good for him - maybe just some more time.

Mary, ,Jude and Noogi are doing such similar numbers at the moment that for a sec I tried to enter Noogi's number onto Jude's SS :joyful::joyful::joyful:

I was also hoping that Noogi's dose dive that started just over a month ago would keep on going all the way down, but we too have stalled. And I'm feeling fine about it. He might need more time, or maybe this is where he will be for the foreseeable. Grateful to be in the blues and greens, with the knowledge that things could change again at any moment.

Maybe! Hope springs eternal for me. Thanks for the encouragement!:bighug:

That made me LOL!

I'm grateful, too! It was hard work getting him to this point, and you can attest to that as well since you and Noogi have gone through a similar process.:bighug:

Well, he did exactly what I thought: 75 @ +2. I went ahead and gave him some MC since he's dropped so low at onset of the insulin. Hopefully this will keep him surfing safe--I'll check him in an hour.

Your outlook in regards to Jude going back into remission vs being tightly regulated is really remarkable and I admire you! Tightly regulated is still at least a great place to be (when compared with the alternatives).

I hope Jude surfs safely tonight and you're able to get some rest! :bighug:
