Its just going up again, although it hasnt reached pink yet, it might by PMPS. At least it isnt red and black!!! I just dont know whats causing this fluctuation all of a sudden. When I first started Levemir, the numbers were so steady. Now we have the bouncing up and down again. :(

Yeah, this is what I thought might happen when I stayed up all night on the 24th, But it happened the next night instead. I cant predict these things for the life of me.

I suspect she's going lower at night, and you're missing it. I recommend trying to get those +3 instead of +2 at night, to see if it's going to be an active cycle. You also didn't hold the 1.0 unit dose long enough. Doses with greens should be held longer. Especially when she dove into the 30's on 1.25 units.

You are just past week 2 on Levemir, it takes time figure out her cycles. As I said before, I felt like a newbie when starting on Levemir. It took about a month to figure out the new patterns. Patience time.

You are just past week 2 on Levemir, it takes time figure out her cycles. As I said before, I felt like a newbie when starting on Levemir. It took about a month to figure out the new patterns. Patience time.

Ive been getting +3's. I stayed up all night the other night to see what she does overnight and as you can see, NOTHING. As Ive said about a hundred times. I can NOT stay up all night every night or I will not be able to take care of myself, much less her. I went back to plus 2's for only the past TWO nights because +3's werent telling me a thing.
While I do appreciate you responding, its starting to sound like a broken record. Test more, stay up all night, you wont know anything unless you do. Well I guess I wont know anything then. Im just venting anyway. I know there isnt too much I can do about all this. Maybe its just time to step away from this forum for a while again.
I did consider I didnt hold the 1U long enough. But I dont get quick enough answers here and I had to make a choice. So it is what it is now. If it drops again I'll hold the 1U to eternity if needed.
Im just so frustrated with all of this as Im sure most are here that cant get thier cats regulated. Its very stressful and disheartening. Plus as Ive mentioned several times, Karamelle just doesnt feel well when her numbers are this high. She acts like shes drugged. I feel so bad for her and mad that I cant help her.
So now, after Ive written all of this, shes just come downstairs all animated meowing at me. No clue what she wants, but i'll try and feed her. We'll see. ......
Well nope, it wasnt that. She just sniffed and said "no thanks". Im going to bed. Over and out!

I know you can't do the overnight. But if you see a +3 that is lower than the preshot, I'd at least give her a good meal before going to bed. Staying up all night when her +3 was higher than preshot was a waste of sleep. You need to think strategically. Ask yourself, what is it about the cycles that go low (or the one or two before hand), that could tell me she's going to go low. And if you don't know, gather more data until you find out. +2's aren't as useful with Levemir as they are with Lantus. Lev has a later onset. Finding out when her onset is, can really help you figure out her patterns. +3's when she's bouncing, if she's higher, give you permission to hit the pillow. With Neko, who often nadired about +12, the previous +9, preshot, and before bed test usually let me know if she was going low at night. You have to figure out what the clues are for Karamelle.
