3/23. Oregano amps 377, +1 304, +2 152, +3 133,+4 229, +5 367

Oregano is wrapping up her 7th day at 2.5 units twice daily and still running high, averaging around 330 a day with multiple “hi”readings most days, though this has improved some from when she was at 2.25 and 2 before that.

I am thinking I need to move her dose up to 2.75 twice daily starting with tomorrow’s dose and am looking for feedback there. Does the increase to 2.75 seem appropriate? She does currently have a uti I think and am taking her in this week as soon as they can see us for a culture.

Yes it’s time for an increase to 2.75u bid. Has she had any evidence of another UTI or other infection?

she has some blood in her urine a couple times a day and has been passing clots. She has done this without a uti in the past— she gets stressed easily. I’m taking her in this week to get a culture to make sure.
Her eating is good and we are close to 80% all soft food now so that process is coming along. And she purrs all the time and seems alert and happy so I’m hopeful it’s not another uti. She has had so many since her accident that left her a paraplegic that she’s built resistance to most antibiotics.

thank you! Today was the first day (day 3 of her new dose) that the new higher dose seemed to kick in. Spent much of today in the 200’s which is a big improvement over the past few weeks. She’s in the high 100’s now so maybe this dose will work.
