Good morning! Im having a terrible problem with bubbles recently. Its so frustrating. They seem to form right at the top just as I push up the insulin. I cant flick it when the insulin is pulled farther down or the insulin just spreads out all over the place. I had an issue in the past and I found if I push it as far up as it can go without bubbling out of the needle, then flick it, then pull back down and up, I can get rid of the bubble, but it took several times of doing this this morning to get rid of it. A couple times recently I just gave up and just stopped it at a little over the intended mark to compensate for the bubble.
Occasionally, and that means maybe once or twice, Ive been able to just pull it out of the cartridge to the intended line and its perfect, but it rarely happens. Mostly because I pull it out too far and have to adjust it. Thats when the bubbles happen. But they also form as Im pulling it out, so I still have to pull back the plunger and push it back up again. Then bubbles, or rather one bubble, that just wont go away!!!
Does anyone else have this issue. It drives me mad!!
