Gave a little increase today to 2.75 units. She’s been blue and yellow in her Libre. Would like a little lower and less yellow. Can I dial it in where I want it??? :nailbiting:

I did hear back from my vet last night and he suggested keeping her on the 4 mg Cerenia at least for a few more days. He feels that I should continue doing the therapy I’m doing which seems to be slowly helping her stools become more firm. I’m continuing with the Animal Essentials Colon Rescue and 1/2 capsule 2 times a day of Jarrow S Bullardi.
He suggested we check in in a few days and if she looks like everything is OK, we will decide when to taper off or stop the medications.

This morning her stool was almost normal looking, so very close to where I’d like it to be, so I’d say we are heading in the right direction. She ate well and has been eating well all week so that’s good news. Paws crossed that we can move past this whole pancreatitis thing.
I think the vet seems to feel that it was just lingering effects and she is taking her time getting over it completely.

I have a doctor appointment around +8 today, hoping she will surf kindly while I’m out for about an hour or so. Always nervous when I give a dose increase and have to run out

Hope everyone has a safe and boring day:cat:

I’m glad you and vetty (learned this term from some senior member’s older posts, maybe Canadian origin?) have a good plan. Hopefully once you’re through with all this she’ll be more dialed in for you :bighug:

That sounds like such a huge change from where this all started! Yaaay, so happy to hear it!

Best of luck with the increase and I'm glad the vet finally got back to you with their suggestion. Hopefully she's almost done with this nightmare.

Good meowning Staci and Ivy!

Happy to hear she's doing better meow and her baked goods are almost fully baked meow hehe
Good luck with the increase.

Ivy please surf safely while mama's away today.
Happy Wednesday :bighug::cat::bighug::cat:

Thanks, Brianna. I’m hoping we are headed in the right direction. Her compass may have been broken:rolleyes:

Hi Staci, glad things still seem to be moving in the right direction. Hopefully this bout will be far in the rear view mirror soon!

I hope your doctor appointment goes well, and Ailish is hoping Ms. Ivy is safe from the dangers of baby feet!

Best, Eamon

Hi Eamon, thanks so much for checking on us. It’s so wonderful to see you pop up. We really appreciate your good wishes.
I hope Ailish is doing well and being the sweet girl she is. I love the beautiful pic of her. ❤️

Looks like there are some little feet close by. I hope that’s going well for both of your cuties.

So far Ivy has avoided any little feet around here. She’s very happy about that.

She likes being the focus of our attention

Give your sweet girl some pets from us and a squeeze to your little one :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci :)
I'm just catching up here after too looooooong xx
I'm really sorry to learn that Ivy had a pancreatitis bout. Those really sucks! I hate them.
I'm happy to read on your latest posts that she's showing good signs of recovery. Poor girl, she must have suffered. I feel for her. And for you. it must have worried you so much.
Paws crossed Ivy keeps on getting better steadily and that she comes for more cuddles :bighug::bighug::bighug:
