Time to stop showing off those limes Binx and come up a bit. :cat:

Since you're following TR, we don't usually do back to back reductions since this lime fest is influenced by the higher depot. Let's see where Binx is closer to PMPS.

Angela, I didn't know this about the back to back reductions. What is the protocol when this happens? How long do you hold the first reduction?

Last post

Binx decided to test me last tonight and is doing the same today. Multiple dips into lime, so we're going to try for back-to-back reduction. It seemed to work for us last weekend, maybe the same will happen again.

Will continue to monitor and see where this cycle takes him.

Safe surfing everyone!
He IS testing you! Naughty Binx!
And I had to laugh when I read on your SS that he stole a salted potato chip off the counter the other day.:cat:

The higher depot can affect 4 -6 cycles after a reduction. Numbers tend to bob around a bit after changing a dose. We wait for the depot to settle then evaluate what the reduced dose can do.

When following TR you hold the dose a minimum of 3 days 6 cycles.

Dose that make sense?

yes, it does

Hello, everyone I am brand new to this . What are you talking about "the limes"?

Welcome Gina!! "Limes" references to the colour used in the blood glucose spreadsheet we use here. You can check Binx's out here, but everyone also links their cat's spreadsheet in their signature: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...vnn4Kf4FicpqSZ3F5rP-QraHYNIRv_ov9kk5s/pubhtml

I would recommend checking out this post https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/the-basics-new-to-the-group-start-here.18139/ if you're just getting started, there's lots of great info and other posts linked in for reference!
