Minner is nudging higher over past 24 hours. All blue. I may have slightly under dosed the last 2 cycles, but we’re talking tiny drops, air bubbles. We’ll see. Pretty sure tonight’s dose had zero air bubbles and a solid 7.75.

She had her echo today and BP measured. With the utmost gratitude I am relieved to share that her heart and BP are perfect. Words of cardiologist. I won’t receive the report until tomorrow, but the doc told me her heart size and all measurements are completely normal. She also looked extensively for any kind of birth defect or genetic issue, nothing. Thank you supreme kitty being for giving Minner a break in this regard.

When we got home Minner immediately began grooming. It was constant for over 30 minutes! Funny girl. Get all this foreign smell off of me!

I feel like I’m being greedy now to wish for action on tonight’s dose given this relieving news today. +2 coming up shortly.
 
What great news! Thank you for sharing that. We can all use a bit of good news!! Hope you and Minner have a nice, calm night. And hope she got all the gross smells off!

Thank you Tim. Yes, I was dreading it. I’m putting so much energy into trying to get Minner regulated while keeping her safe, plus caring for 7 other kitties (5 at different location involving hour round trip effort daily), oh and working full time … and feeling like neglecting aging parents. I sometimes don’t know how I could take on more to manage. I’m a little tired. So yes, this is very much a weight off shoulders. More importantly, yay for Minner and her health.

Thank you Staci. Silver linings we must find.

Minner grooms a lot. My husband and I laugh at how whenever he pets her she starts grooming where he touched her right away.
 
That +2 at 77 is not cool. Be careful what you wish for. This is unusual for Minner - I’ve never seen that drastic of a drop with her … 183 pmps to 77 +2. She hasn’t had any carbs since this morning at +2 and she didn’t eat as much as normal then. She had a fairly stressful day with the cardiologist appt but her BP was totally normal. After that 77 reading she got her pate dinner and ate very well. I’ve never had her get a reading below 70 and I don’t really want one. Please no. Testing again before +3.

Wow, that's a big drop, quickly. Do you think it was just low because she didn't eat on her regular schedule?

I love that she grooms a lot to get that all the "nasty" off. When I bring Jude home from the vet office, his sister Hazel, hisses and slaps him. It confuses him, but she'll absolutely have none of that weird smell. Hazel rules the roost in our house.

I'm so glad the test results were positive for Minner!

I don’t know, maybe so. It’s freaked me out and I’m trying not to over react. My first jump was go get her some MC food, but I held back. I’m going to test her right now for +3. If she is below 70, uggghhhhh. Ok stop speculating.

Funny that they rely so much on smell for recognition. Poor Jude, getting beat on by sis.
 
Chicken Little, that’s me. The BG is falling. OMG.

Her +3 is 80. What a fall into a soft landing. Reverse bounce. She just ate some slightly higher LC chunky pate so I’m taking a 1.5 hour nap and then will test her +5.
