Good evening,

today I tried to give Binie a little pause from the testing because she was a bit grumpy. Seems we are getting quite similar cycles now. Tonight she decided to walk away while I was injecting and hissed at me. I hope I didn't hurt her and all the insulin went in. I injected while she was already walking. No insulin smell and wetness. +2 will show us... Always something new.....

Hope everyone has a great day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

The numbers look like the insulin went in.

Binie's nadirs aren't quite in the range we'd like on SLGS, between 90 and 149. You've been on this dose for 9 days. I think she needs an increase.

I didn't take the +2 so far. So we'll see in 45 minutes.... Yes, I know about the increase. :( I just want to wait to be healthy again so I can manage during the nights. Sorry for the whining but it is quite hard for me. Thank you so much for checking on us!

Oops, I thought you meant during the day, not PM shot possible fur shot.

I understand you needing to be healthy first. Sleep is important for recovery. How are you feeling now?:bighug:.

Hi Heike, hopefully you got it in. Sorry, Binie was getting impatient. She’s not used to all the poking around. But considering, she’s been doing so well.
We will keep our fingers and paws crossed that she got the full dose and surfs nicely overnight.
I hope you both get a nice calm rest and continue to heal and feel better.

Thank you so much Wendy! Insuline went in. From 370 PMPS to 294 at +2. So we are lucky.... :cat:

I am much better but still coughing a lot, red-eyed and tired. Thank you for asking! Thank god we have all these public holiday the next days and I can sleep during the day. Feeling like a cat then.....

I have to admit the increase scares me, because it is the highest she has ever been. But seems we have to face it... So thank you so much for the kind reminder! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you so much Staci! I was quite confident it went in as there was not smell and after +2 I think it's like that. I think she got impatient today because after the furshots it takes me longer and I do a lot of fiddling to see that the needel is not going through. Seems to be a bit annoying. :cat: Helicopter mum.....

Thank you for the good wishes! I tried to cancel as much as possible tomorrow and so I have almost three more days to rest. As I will not do anything on new years eve and 1st of January, another time to rest. Chin scratches to sweet Ivy girl! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

You've had a rough week, Heike. I hope you get past this sickness soon! Binie getting a little spicy at her shot, I'm sorry. I'm sure all will be forgiven once she is hungry and wants some food.

Thank you Seth for checking on us! That is the good thing about Binie, she forgets quickly. :cat: I think me being tense during shot time doesn't make things easier. Friends suggested I drink a wine before shooting but I am not sure, if that is a good idea. :)

Thank you so much Cecile! Yes, I slepped after +5 but after the low preshot today I wonder how deep she was. But anyhow, I had some sleep and she was doing well! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
