Merry Christmas~
Evey is on her 10th cycles on 0.25U. Her PMS number was a bit lower so I didn't increase the dose back to 0.5U yet hoping her BG will stay low. I guess I am wrong again. So I should increase her dose to 0.5U next time I give her a shot?

I will be out of town for two days soon. My parents will help me take care of her. But they don't know how to prick her. Her skin on both sides hasn't heal yet so I don't really want to put another sensor on her. Would 0.5U or 0.25U be a safe dose to give her without testing? Thank you~

It's good you increased this morning. Let's take a call on Dec 28th if you need a vacation dose when you are not around.

ETA: Can folks at home not feed her at +2 every day?

They can feed her at +2. Should I change her feeding schedule?

I meant on all days - not just when you are traveling. If yes, then it makes sense to feed some of her PS meal at +2 and +4 to reduce the diving and prevent reductions earned due to want of food to flatten the curve.

If I feed her at +2 and +4, will the food affect her +3 and +5 BG since it will be only one hour after she eats and BG will be high?

I used to feed at shot time, +2, +3.5, +5. But the vet told me that it usually takes 3 hours for the stomach to get empty so I changed it to feed her at shot time, +3 and +5. This schedule is also easier for us when we can sneak back home from work to feed her at the workdays, not every day though.
