Amps 171 Libre

Overnight in blue and greens on Libre, but not terribly low. :cool::D

I did spend the night on the sofa near her because she started to drop when I would’ve gone to bed around +4. I couldn’t tell if she was diving or not.

She did stay a little lower on the Libre at that hour so I hedged my bets and just set up shop again on the sofa.;)

The trick with Ivy is you really can’t tell which direction she’s heading when she starts a decent and it takes a couple of hours until she either stops a dive or she just keeps going and you just never can tell which way it’s headed. :confused:

It doesn’t make for a great night of sleep or getting into bed. It’s almost worse when I go to bed and then Libre alarm goes off an hour later and I have to re-situate myself and take all my stuff for sleeping down to the basement along with her snacks. It’s like carrying a whole set of equipment for camping out :rolleyes:

what a beautiful cylce! :bighug::bighug::bighug: Sorry, you spend another night on the sofa. :facepalm: Ivy likes to keep you guessing, this makes everything more complicated. I hope she is a hair higher tonight, so you can sleep without worries in your bed!

I know what you mean about setting up shop. Every night I do the same for Butch. Half the time I don't go lay down till the +4 (1 AM) :blackeye:

Hi Heike, thank you for the sweet thoughts. It’s fine really, I keep telling myself to be thankful for as comfortable as it is.
It could definitely be worse. I hate to whine since I feel very lucky that it’s a cozy spot I can sleep if I need to be down there with her.

She seems to be coasting at a certain blue yellow level today, which I assume is a bounce from when she saw a little lower cycle last night.
Of course, I’d prefer the lower cycle in the day, but we know she likes to do it at night and I don’t get to have my vote :p

I hope you and Binie had a good day and you’re feeling better and I hope she’s feeling OK too. Wishing you a good night rest and lots of healing for both of you.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Cecile, you’re very sweet. She was nice last night then higher today.
You’re lucky Bella doesn’t really have these bounces and she’s so well regulated that you don’t have to worry about this kind of up-and-down yo-yo stuff .

Yes, it is a nice set up in our basement. I feel so lucky. I never spent so much time in our basement before all of this happened. It used to be my husband‘s man cave, but I’ve kind of taken it over. He likes to nap and watch TV down there…. now it’s become my sleeping room:rolleyes:

You’re gonna need to improve that floor situation. Maybe a futon or something that you could put on the floor to make it more comfortable for you:)

Hi Karolina, well, the good news. It has been a boring for Friday now we’ll just have to see what she has planned for tonight. She does seem to like my company these days overnight. I keep telling her she’s allowed to come upstairs and sleep in my room, but she likes her own room :smuggrin:

That’s very kind of you Eamon. I feel lucky to have her.
I had to do a bunch of errands today and at least she stayed stable for me while I was out. Now we just need her to stay stable tonight, but not too high.
If only we could just make our requests and they would be granted it would that be wonderful?:cat:

Hi Madeline, it sounds like you and I have a similar schedule. I usually don’t even attempt to get in bed until around +4 which for me is around 10 o’clock since I feed and shoot at around six. I’m not a night owl, so it’s really hard for me to do these long overnight stretches with no sleep. I’ve always required a good amount of sleep so the lack of sleep is really rough.

I actually set an alarm last night for 30 minutes, but I think I never hit start and the next thing I know I woke up two hours later. But at least I know the Libre would’ve woken me up had she gone lower, so it all worked out OK.

Hi Staci, you are so right to acknowledge what is good. I am happy it is cozy and Ivy comes to snuggle and makes biscuits. :cat: She is having an interesting pattern today. Let's see, what she is up to tonight. I really hope you can get some sleep.

I felt a lot better today but I should have slept more. I wanted to go back after the morning injection but after stalling and everything I was too much awake. :) I will wait for +4 and go to bed then. Hope you have a beautiful day with sweet Ivy! :bighug::cat::bighug:
