High start this morning.
The pen I am using has a lot of bubbles, since the beginning. I don't see them in the pen but there are bubbles when I draw the insulin. That's very weird.
Our sitter yesterday said that she had trouble getting enough without bubbles, and it's still more than half full. I am getting a new one today.
If you want to watch kids playing great music My son is in the first orchestra (first 3 pieces). They are all 13 to 18 years old.

can you flick the pen and make the bubbles go up before you draw? I hate bubbles......

The orchestra is so, so great! Love it - thank you! Can't imagine they are all so young!

I tried this morning but it was even worse. I don't know where they are coming from. This pen was weird, it smelled as soon as I opened the cap the first time, maybe the seal was not good.
Yes, they blow my mind. My daughter started with them back in 2018 when she was 12, and Lucas the following year, when he was 11. They are amazing,. The kids range from 8 to 18 years old, there are 11 orchestras now. He is in the almost top one, the other one (who plays right after his on this video) is at a professional level and they go on tours. last year they went to France The violinist who plays the solos in the first piece is 13!

Congratulations to your son on his performance! They play so beautifully -- it's hard to believe they are all so young. I loved the choices of music, too. What a wonderful opportunity for them to play and for you to listen!

Sounds like a good idea to start a new pen... If the seal is somehow broken it might deteriorate the insulin.

They sound very professional indeed. Not like a "ordinary" school or university orchestra. So nice for them to travel with their music!

But it's working well, so I am keeping it. i will ask the pharmacist when I go get the new one later today.
Yes, there are auditions, it is a separate program, not the school one. Those are great too, but not the same level, especially for the higher orchestras. They have to audition each year. If they go to Germany next year (my son's wish for his last year!), I will let you know!

This was so good, you must be very proud of him. I don't know how the musical folks handle the pressure of auditions. So so much practice and time for a single performance!

Yes, I am! They have a lot of concerts, he auditions once a year (for this one at least, then there are the honors bands, all-state... and others) but yes, so much stress. he loves it, though!
