?12/08/24 Mikey AMPS 175 +5 156 PMPS 198 +1 207. help! I may have double shot

I usually give Mikey his shot at 4:15
Four hours later I thought I hadn’t given his shot and I gave him his dose- it is at plus 5 and he is at 207.
I really can’t be sure- very stressful day with too much going on.
Should I take him to the ER vet or keep testing him. I of course am freaking out.

please help!

Hi Tom, just to bee clear, you gave a second shot 4 hours after the first one/his usual shot time? And the test an hour after the second shot was 207?
Did you get any more tests? I don't see them on the SS.

Yes, but I am not certain . I just posted more to his chart.He appears ok for now

Phew! That's a relief. You would have to adjust future shot times accordingly.

In future, if you miss a shot or give a furshot, don't give a second shot

I guess he will be ok. I will test him again in a half hour. I hope he will be ok.
I want to change to his schedule anyway and not get up at 4am

It has been 5 hours since the second shot.

Hi Tom, glad Mikey is ok. Wow that was scary. I agree with Bhooma. Never ever give a second shot.
Worst case scenario, pretend it’s a fur shot and move on.
He will recover from missing one shot.
But he could have real problems by getting two shots. It’s not worth the risk

Thanks, I am relieved. I am taking Bhooma’s and your advice! He is not happy this morning of his dose schedule adjustment, but glad it worked out
