12/3 Bella AMPS 100, +3 65, +5 56, +7 80, PMPS 90

yesterday
Good day here, Bella is still scratching her dry skin but it's better. She was a little too excited yesterday evening and ended up with a lot of coconut oil on her head, she looks wet, or like if she used too much hair gel  but the scratches look a lot better. She's very interested in the squirrels and birds outside!
Hi Cecile, I hope Bella feels less itchy. Glad her scratches are healing. Have a good day.:bighug::cat:

Hi Cecile,

glad Bella got her gourmet experience today and you could keep her safe! :bighug::bighug::bighug: I have so much respect how you handle all these low numbers and keep her so safe. I would be always near mental breakdown. :nailbiting:

Happy Bellas skin starts to heal. Doesn't she want to lick the coconut oil? Binie is crazy about it.... :cat:

Hope you have a good day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you, Heike! I am lucky that she is so well regulated, I know how she will react most of the time: she goes low and then stabilizes or goes back up gently. It's very rare when I need to use high carbs. I should probably not say that because she will prove me that she can in the middle of the night
She would lick it, but it's on her face :cat: but yes, that's how she ended up with so much on her head, because she could not help herself and wanted to lick my hand as I was trying to put it on her. That was funny.

So great you know her so well. And you regulated her so quickly after the diagnosis. It is amazing to look at her ss.

Hhhhhh.....after seeing the video I can imagine how she freaked out about the coconut oil. I always thought Binie is food oriented but Bella LOVES food. So cute! :cat:

Ah yes. She is crazy about food! :p
I was so desperate, it did not seem fast at all at the time. My vet was saying she had no idea why Bella "did not respond to insulin", I kept thinking that testing once in a while did not make sense, and how to know if she was in hypo if I did not test? And I found this forum while looking for ways to test and shoot, because those did not go well either. And that's once I found here that things got better fast.

3rd green PMPS in a row! :D
She scratched her head really badly again :arghh: I cleaned her ears, they are full of black stuff. I did it maybe a week ago , usually it does not bother her so fast after I did it. I think I'll call the vet tomorrow, to be sure it's not ear mites. And I added Chlorhexidine on her scratches. And I cut her nails.

What great numbers! :D:D:D Sorry, she has all this stuff going on. Hope the scratching gets better soon. Great job cleaning her ears and cutting her nails! I keep my fingers crossed her ears are fine and no nasty ear mites. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
